What is the Wheeler Institute Research Assistant programme?
Our Pre-Doctoral Research Assistant programme offers a unique opportunity for recent or imminent postgraduates to pursue their career in a top business school PhD programme. Successful candidates will be responsible for assisting faculty in a number of tasks, depending on the type of research and the subject area that they are in. Our Research Assistants will be able to take PhD courses, attend workshops and seminars and access the rich intellectual and cultural campus life. Overall, these researcher positions provide excellent preparation for high-level doctoral studies.
The position is well-suited for those interested in pursuing rigorous research at the intersection of business and development, with a particular focus on developing countries. Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.
